I will not long for nightfall and darkness any more,

I will not no longer revel in fantasy.

You appear like spring, awakening the land and trees to come back to life,

and this is why I am waiting for your slow growth patiently at a coldest moonlit night.

生命的河谷有舷有帆，

不老的船载我到彼岸。

人生的盛宴百盏也不疲倦，

说起那无沉的水边，也有一款清甜。

There are boats and sails in life river,

and a centenarian is about to sail to the other side of life.

I yearn to attend century feasts,

If you make a contribution,

your life is immortal and deserves commemoration.

脚本导读

Script Review

这是一部为青少年讲诉崇高、树立远大理想、鼓励健康成长的，少年体裁的古典正歌剧。全剧格调高雅、内涵深邃，主旨思想来自传承数千年的中国谚语：“一年树谷，十年树木，百年树人”（语出《管子》） 和“鸟之将死其鸣也哀，人之将死其言也善”（语出《论语》）。

故事由《诗经·小雅·天保》脱胎而成，遵循《诗经》的“赋、比、兴”手法，通过全新诠释《诗经》中《商颂·玄鸟》、《大雅·南山》、《小雅·天保》、《小雅·鹿鸣》、《魏风·伐檀》、《秦风·蒹葭》、《邶风·凯风》、《王风·兔爰》、《唐风·葛生》以及《楚歌》的《孺子歌·沧浪之水》等歌谣，来讲述“天地人神“间普遍存在的、偶然、必然的联系，讲述自然界各式生命在成长过程中所遭遇的艰辛困苦，讲述动荡年代人们为生存、求发展而承受诸多烦恼时所产生的勇于战胜困难的决心和坚定不移的信心，以此鼓励青少年热爱和珍惜生命，关爱和尊重自然。同时，也警示成长中的少年，在经受不可避免的天灾人祸时，要敢于担当，勇于面对，及时找回属于“自我”的自尊、自爱、自信、自强和自傲。

The classical opera is composed to preach virtues, pursue lofty ideal and encourage healthy growth. Featuring elegant style and profoundity, it revolves around the excerpts from The Book of Guanzi “ It takes one year to grow crops, ten years to plant trees and a hundred years to educate people” and from The Analects of Confucius “ When a bird is about to die, its notes are mournful; when a man is about to die, his words are good”.

The story is adapted from The Books of Songs. Xiaoya.Tianbao. By adopting metaphor in The Books of Songs and interpreting ballads from The Books of Songs such as Shangsong. Xuannia, Daya.Nanshan,Xiaoya.Tianbao, Xiaoya.Luming, Weifeng. Fatan, Qinfeng. Jianjia, Beifeng.Kaifeng, Wangfeng. Tuyuan andTangfeng. Gesheng and chants such as Children’s Song. Water of Canglang River from Chu Song. It gives an account of the ubiquitous, incidental and consequential link between heaven, earth, humanity and god, growth hardship suffered by life in nature and human’s absolute determination and confidence to surmount difficulties when fighting for survival, achieving a development and withstanding trouble in the turbulent era to encourage teenagers to love life and respect nature. Meanwhile, it admonishes teenagers to summon up the courage to survive natural and man-made disasters and gain self-esteem, self-love, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-pride.      

全剧以“赞颂崇高、歌唱美好”为宗旨，重点歌颂潜藏在人类灵魂深处的“真善美”的良知，歌颂大地母亲博大精深的情怀，歌颂生命对崇高理想的执著和坚守，歌颂人们对幸福美好生活的向往和追求。其间，或多或少流露出对少男、少女青涩爱情懵懂时期，渴望与迷茫的扼腕叹息，却不乏溢美之辞……

本剧在重点强调歌颂主题的同时也提出一点反思：如何在和谐、统一的前提下，珍视、关爱大自然里的一草一木。“和谐”、“爱自然”是人类永恒不变的主题。如何合理创造和改良自然环境、合理分配和利用自然资源，很值得我们长时间去思考……

The opera is intended for preaching virtues and focuses on eulogizing inner consciousness of truth, virtue and beauty, deep love of land mother, devotion to lofty ideals and pursuit of happy life. Additionally, it also signs with regrets as well as lauds boys and girls’ bewilderment and desire for sentimental love…

It is worth mentioning that it also has sober reflection on how to value and care for all the plants and trees in nature on the premise of achieving harmony and unity. Achieving harmony and loving nature is the eternal theme of humanity. We need to ponder how to create and improve natural environment and allocate and use natural resources in a rational way.

 

分幕梗概Outline of Acts

这是一个树立崇高、勉励成长的故事，是由期颐之年的老妪，为花季少女假借大地牧草“知母”家族的名义讲述的充满幻梦色彩的传奇故事。在表达了对大地母亲无限感激和真心赞美的同时，也流露出对逝去青春的眷恋和对幸福美好生活的祝愿。

It is a legend of preaching virtues and encouraging growth narrated by a centenarian to a girl in the name of Anemarrhena, showing gratitude to mother land, nostalgia for youth and wish to happy life.

序幕Prologue

天姥山星光谷内，经历百岁风雨的“知母树”，用一生所见所闻，为树下处在萌芽期的“知母草”回顾“知母”家族的光荣传统和“知母女王”女知的丰功伟绩。

An Anemarrhena tree surviving in the valley of the skyland for centuries was relating the glorious tradition of Anemarrhena and the great feats of Queen of Anemarrhena “goddess of enlightenment” to an Anemarrhena herb in the bud.

 

第一幕Act 1

（以虔诚的朗诵、圣洁的合唱和炫技的独唱为主）(Devout Recitation, holy chorus and virtuoso solo)

在蛮荒年代，母系社会时期，女人有纵情歌唱的权力，男人则作为女人的附属品，日夜为女人耕作劳碌。

人类天鸟部落（即燧人氏鸟部、女姓，图腾“玄鸟”）女首领“天姥”（读mu音）率先掌握了“火”的使用方法，由此认定已经掌控征服大地的终极力量。天性自负的天姥以 “崇高月光女神”为信仰，以“智慧天鸟女王”自居。为了让部落里的子民拥有丰富的食物和华丽的服饰，她设下陷阱，诱捕了百兽之王狮子，然后以“丰收”为诱因，以“奉献”为诱导，举行盛大的祭祀仪式，试图诱使狮子带着动物们改变信仰，从此依附人类生活。

In the wilderness era, women had the privilege of indulging in singing while men toiled at farming for women as a subordinate role in matriarchy.

In human skybird tribe (also known as Zuirens bird tribe, female, using swallow as totem), female leader goddess of skyland took the initiative to master how to use fire and was supposed to have power to dominate land. Self-conceited goddess of skyland believed in lofty la luna and proclaimed herself wise skybird queen. To get adequate food and apparel, goddess of skyland trapped lion, king of animals and perfomed a sacrifice ritual to celebrate harvest and encourage devotion. Actually, she tried to induce lion and animals to change belief and be subservient to human being.     

为了让崇尚自由、全心信奉太阳神的狮子屈服，为了向所有的动物展示月光女神的智慧和强大，天姥一面利用自己高亢、嘹亮的歌唱来引导以女知为首领的少女们，以天使般无邪的歌喉来赞美“奉献”的荣耀以及月神的慈悲，一面又以释放小鹿逃生作为条件，命令母鹿投身圣火，心甘情愿对月光女神祭献。

To force the lion that respected freedom and believed in goddess of sun to surrender and show the wisdom and power of la luna to all the animals, goddess of skyland sang songs loudly to instruct goddess of enlightenment and girls to eulogize the glory of devotion and the mercy of la luna with innocent angel voice. Meanwhile, she ordered female deer to plunge into holy fire to sacrifice herself to la luna.

母鹿为了让自己的孩子活着离开天鸟部落，不顾狮子和动物们的强烈指责，违心地赞颂月光女神的伟大，然后“心甘情愿”地迈步走进圣火当中。带着枷锁的狮子的狮子向母鹿和其他动物们宣扬伟大太阳神的教义，鼓励母鹿坚定信念，相信太阳神的光明。

不甘心失败的狮子也试图劝诫天鸟族人放弃晦暗的月光女神，改为信奉强大的太阳神，却引来了天姥和天鸟族人的嘲讽。

In order to make her child a chance to life, female deer eulogized great la luna against her will regardless of reproach from the lion and animals and plunged into holy fire. The lion with shackles preached the tenet of great goddess of sun to female deer and other animals and encouraged female deer to cling to belief and believe in the brightness of goddess of sun.

引领少女们歌唱圣咏的女知是天姥的女儿，也是天鸟部落女王的唯一继任者。她出于对母鹿和小鹿的怜悯，走出来阻止献祭，但被族人误解，在遭受天姥叱责的同时，也受到狮子的羞辱。

任性的女知不顾天姥和族人们的阻拦，为小鹿解开套索，放它逃生，然后上前为鹿母解围。不料想，一直被恐惧笼罩着的小鹿竟不顾火中受难的母鹿，独自逃离，为在场的人类所不齿，很快又被猎人捕捉，重新带回到祭祀场。惊魂未定的小鹿为了活命，屈膝向天姥和女知乞求投降。天姥对月神承诺小鹿作为女知的宠物，将获得永生。母鹿于是重新回到火中赞美月光女神的伟大。

Goddess of enlightenment leading girls to sing chant was the daughter of goddess of skyland and the sole successor of tribal queen, who stood out against sacrifice out of mercy to female deer and fawn. However, her good deed was misunderstood by tribal members, reproached by goddess of skyland and humiliated by the lion.

Regardless of protest of goddess of skyland and tribal members, wilful goddess of enlightenment untied rope, let it escape and raised the siege of female deer. Unexpectedly, the deer in fear and trepidation fled alone leaving female deer in the fire and people present held it in contempt. Before long, the fawn was captured by hunters and brought to sacrificial site again. To save life, frightened fawn knelt down and surrendered to goddess of skyland and goddess of enlightenment. Goddess of skyland vowed in front of la luna that fawn would be immortal as a pet of goddess of enlightenment. In return, the female deer replunged into fire and eulogized great la luna.     

小鹿的软弱和母鹿的妥协同时遭到人类的鄙视和动物们的唾骂，也让狮子感到威严扫地。狮子几番劝阻母鹿失败后，终于决定放弃母鹿。母鹿在部落人们欢庆锣鼓的催促下被活活烧死。此时的狮子也开始为自己身为百兽之王，却无法帮助弱小动物摆脱精神和肉体的双重苦难而感到愧疚。

Fawn and female deer was held in contempt and reviled by humanity and animals and the lion felt terribly embarrassed. After failing to persuade female deer for several times, the lion decided to give up expecting it to change. Urged by celebration drum roll, female deer was burnt to death in fire. As the king of animals, the lion felt guilty that he had no way of helping weak animals relieve metal and physical suffering.

母鹿的死，让女知痛苦万分，她不顾部落的礼仪，再次站出来为母鹿歌唱《安魂曲》，却引来了混乱。原来，这首《安魂曲》是天姥专门为自己封神所作的歌曲，是在人类领袖、天鸟女王天姥死后，由新女王女知带领少女们安抚天姥灵魂所使用的挽歌。

女知违反了部落的规定，因此失去了部落少女们的拥护，也被天姥视为异端。天姥为了维系女王的尊严，当众剥夺女知继任者的权利，把她放逐到离部落偏远的领地——星光谷。

Goddess of enlightenment suffered so bitter anguish of the death of female deer that she ignored tribal ritual and sang requiem for female deer, causing chaos. It turned out that goddess of skyland chose the requiem as her song for proclaiming goddess and human leader. After goddess of skyland died, goddess of enlightenment was crowned queen and selected the requiem as the elegy to soothe the soul of goddess of skyland.

As she breached tribal tenet, goddess of enlightenment lost the support of tribal girls and was regarded as a heretic by goddess of skyland. To preserve queen’s dignity, goddess of skyland abolished the successor right of goddess of enlightenment in public and banished her to remote tribal territory –the Star Valley. 

女知哭着离开。恼羞成怒的天姥把怒火投向狮子。

狮子无法忍受天姥的羞辱，奋力挣脱枷锁，驻足火中，高唱“太阳之神光芒万丈”，试图用自己的坚强向摇摆不定的动物们证明太阳神有比月光女神更坚强的意志和更高贵的品德，但烈火无情，无力回天的狮子和母鹿一样，被大火活活烧死。

天姥的“冷酷绝情”让所有的动物不寒而栗。一部分软弱的动物信心动摇。为了祈求活命，它们和小鹿一样选择屈膝投降，接受人类的豢养。不肯屈服的动物则面临狮子一样的结局……

Goddess of enlightenment left in tears and enraged goddess of skyland vented anger on the lion.

The lion could not endure the humiliation of goddess of skyland and struggled to free himself from shackles, plunging into fire and singing “brilliant goddess of sun” to prove that goddess of sun is more indomitable and noble than la luna to wavering animals with his fortitude. Like female deer, the lion was burnt to death in fire.

All the animals shuddered at the cruelty of goddess of skyland. Among them, some weak animals shook confidence. To save life, they chose to surrender and be kept in captivity. It was pity that those that refused to yield faced the same fate of the lion.

无家可归的女知带着无人理睬的小鹿离开部落，来到荒无人烟的星光谷，夜晚与星空为伴、白天则以歌唱来消磨闲暇时光。

数年后，以星光女神为信仰的女知带着黄鹿（长大后的小鹿）在狮子星座下安抚死难的灵魂，然后放生黄鹿回归自然。

Homeless goddess of enlightenment and unheeded fawn left tribe and arrived at the uninhabited Star Valley, viewing stars as her companion at night and singing songs to kill time in the daytime.

After several years, goddess of enlightenment who believed in goddess of star and yellow deer (grownup fawn) soothed the dead under leo constellation and then goddess of enlightenment released yellow deer back to nature.

 

第二幕Act 2

（以对唱的民歌、舞蹈和西洋小咏叹调为主）(Duet Folk Songs, Dance and Western Arietta )

狮子死后，天鸟族人和动物之间的矛盾进一步加深，争端不断发生。随着战火的延续，动物们所栖息的树林被毁伤殆尽，越来越多的草地被人类占据。愤怒的动物们在黄鹿的引导下向天鸟部落发起一次又一次地攻击。处于农耕期的男人们抵挡不住动物们无休止的进攻，非死即伤。

大片田地荒废，庄稼遭到破坏，人们努力追求的幸福美好生活蒙上了一层厚重的阴霾。

After the death of the lion, conflicts occurred between tribal members and animals and wars erupted. As wars continued, forest where animals inhabited was devastated and pasture was increasingly occupied by humanity. Enraged animals assailed the skybird tribe under the command of yellow deer and men farming in the field were injured or died when withstanding assaults.

Consequently, fields left uncultivated, crops were damaged and people lived a hard life.

接下来的三年天旱无雨、地震频发，土地颗粒无收。处在饥荒中的人们不愿意和动物们继续争斗下去。一部分在战火中受到伤害的人们选择背井离乡。黄鹿借机散布传言说，这是太阳神对月光女神和天姥的惩罚。轻信传言的女人们走出来反对天姥，责难女神。男人们也首次汇集在一起，公开抵制女权的统治。

为了维护神权、王权和女权，天姥决定用自己的生命作赌注，以自己为祭品，为月光女神“献祭”。为了让部落人心悦诚服，天姥夜观天象，选定“天狗食月”之际进行“奉献”仪式。

In the following three years, the farmers reaped nothing at harvest time due to drought and earthquake. People in the famine loathed war and some of them chose to leave their native place. Yellow deer took the opportunity to spread rumour that goddess of sun punished la luna and goddess of skyland by means of natural calamities. Consequently, credulous women protested goddess of skyland and blamed la luna and men gathered to flout the rule of feminism.

To safeguard theocracy, monarchy and feminism, goddess of skyland was determined to sacrifice her life to la luna. For the sake of convincing tribal members, she decided to perform a sacrifice ritual during eclipse after observing celestial phenomena.

祭祀场上，皎洁的月亮被阴影遮盖。天姥以“月光女神”名义颁布“神谕”，宣称，一切灾难来自人们内心深处对女权的蔑视和对信仰的缺失。天姥提醒人们维护女权是天鸟部落繁衍生息的唯一途径，暗示人们把女知找回来继续担任女王，以此来保证种族的纯净，同时又威胁说，如果天鸟族人继续混乱无序，月光女神不但不再眷顾，还会实施更大的惩罚，让部落从此灭绝消亡。随着火中天姥的歌声逐渐减弱，月亮“失而复得”，天鸟族人们不由自主地相信天姥的“神谕”。人们跪下来向月神祈求救赎，向天姥表达忠诚，并发誓为新女王“知母”战斗到死。

On sacrifice site, the bright moon was hidden. goddess of skyland issued the oracle that all the natural disasters were invited for tribal members held feminism in contempt and abandoned belief in the name of la luna. Additionally, she reminded people that safeguarding feminism was the only way to survival and implies that they should find goddess of enlightenment as new queen to ensure tribal purity. Meanwhile, she intimidated that la luna would impose severe penalties to bring an end to tribe instead of giving blessing if they continued to slide into chaos. As songs died away, the moon appeared again. Tribal members began to believe in the oracle of goddess of skyland and knelt down to seek salvation, show loyalty to goddess of skyland and vowed to fight for goddess of enlightenment to death.

天姥的“牺牲”凝聚起天鸟族人日渐散乱的民心。人们团结起来奔赴战场，为新女王而战，终于彻底击败了反抗的动物，重新获得充裕的耕种时间。

The sacrifice of goddess of skyland brought about unity and people fought for new queen in the war. As a result, they had defeated animals and gained enough farming time.

天公作美，普降大雨，大地喜获丰收。天鸟部落齐心协力战胜艰难的饥荒岁月，对天姥的崇拜达到了空前的高度。人们视天姥为“人间女神”，为她树立神像，和月亮女神一起供奉在庙堂之中，接受人们的“贡献”。在安葬天姥的仪式上，被捕后的黄鹿成为女神天姥的殉葬品，一同陪葬的还有天鸟部落圈养的牛羊。

It was coincidence that it rained and reaped harvest. The skybird tribe made concerted effort to survive famine, viewed goddess of skyland as earth goddess,  erected the statue of goddess of skyland and worshipped goddess of skyland and  la luna in the temple. At the funeral, captive yellow deer, sheep and cows were offered as sacrifices to goddess of skyland.

 

第三幕Act 3

（以大咏叹调和二重唱、三重唱的民歌为主）*(Aria, Duet and Trio Folk Songs)

一头母羊被指定为女神天姥【[1]】的陪葬品。母羊的喂养者——部落里的牧羊少年偷偷把它抱走，然后带着羊群逃离天鸟部落。

牧羊少年途径天姥山星光谷，停下来休息，在山涧旁喝水时，遇到在对岸水边梳洗长发的女知。

牧羊少年被女知的美丽吸引，隔着山涧溪水高唱情歌，歌声中充满赞美，却也带有忧伤。多年来深受孤独困扰的女知被牧羊少年忧郁的歌声引发出共鸣，很愉快地和牧羊少年隔岸对歌。

A sheep was designated a sacrifice to goddess of skyland and shepherd fled the skybird tribe together with the sheep and sheep flock.

By way of the Sky Valley, the shepherd and sheep had a break and encountered goddess of enlightenment combing hair across the river bank. 

The shepherd was fascinated by the beauty of goddess of enlightenment and sang love songs filled with laudation and grief across the valley. Sheperd’s melancholy  songs struck a chord in the hearts of Goddess of enlightenment who was beset by loneliness for ages and responded well to the songs of shepherd across the bank.

女知邀请牧羊少年过河相见，却自称是星光山谷的“星光女王”，并用女王特有的傲慢态度命令牧羊少年带着羊群留下来，以后陪自己唱歌。

牧羊少年从歌声中得知眼前的美少女就是部落女王唯一的继任者女知，便尝试着劝她回部落后带人们走正确的道路。然而，牧羊少年发自肺腑的忠告一次次被女知用高亢的歌声阻拦。牧羊少年对此感到不满，他很尖刻地讽刺女知用歌唱麻醉自己，却不顾部落民众的死活。女知不肯相让，据理力争。二人在充满抵触的对歌中互相讥讽，矛盾加深。随着对抗情绪的激化，女知的语态不自觉地趋近目空一切的天姥。不想再过奴役生活的牧羊少年忍无可忍，断然拒绝女知的求爱，还把女知和天姥骂得一无是处。情窦初开的女知毫无准备，一时间被骂得不知所措。

Goddess of enlightenment invited shepherd to meet with her and claimed to be the Star Queen of the Star Valley, ordering shepherd and sheep flock to accompany her to sing songs in the Star Valley arrogantly.

Shepherd learned from songs that the beauty in front of him was the sole successor of tribal queen and attempted to persuade her to returned to tribe and lead people to take the path to happiness. To his disappointment, goddess of enlightenment rejected his advice with loud songs. Shepherd was dissatisfied with her attitudes and satirized goddess of enlightenment intoxicating herself by singing songs without saving tribal fate. Without seeking compromise, goddess of enlightenment argued on the basis of reason and they satirized each other by means of singing songs, provoking conflict. Finally, goddess of enlightenment ordered shepherd in a supercilious voice like goddess of skyland and shepherd could not bear slavery life who flatly rejected the courtship of goddess of enlightenment and reproached her and goddess of skyland bitterly. Goddess of enlightenment awakening of love for the first time was at a complete loss.

牧羊少年不顾大雨即将来到，乘夜色忿然离开，这让习惯了高高在上的女知，自尊心、自信心都受到沉重打击。心灰意冷的女知轻率地做出决定，准备放弃自己年轻的生命。

暴雨来临，女知任由冰冷的雨水侵袭，却不肯躲避。

冰冷的雨水让女知昏迷不醒，也让化身为白鸟星的天姥万分焦急。她在布满乌云的星空角落祈求有人来帮女知摆脱困境。然而，此时出现在女知身旁的却是天姥昔日的“仇人”——已经皈依佛门的鹿母夫人【[2]】（即母鹿）。

Although it is about to rain, shepherd left the Star Valley furiously and heartbroken goddess of enlightenment suffered a big blow who decided to commit suicide.

When storm blew up, goddess of enlightenment refused to take shelter from rain and was drenched to the skin.

 When goddess of enlightenment lost consciousness in the cold rain, white bird star (reincarnation of goddess of skyland) was so anxious that she decided to ask someone to help her daughter to cope with difficult situation. However, it was female deer that had converted to Buddhism appeared in front of goddess of enlightenment at this moment.

 

第四幕Act 4

（以多声部的重唱、合唱为主）(Multi-voice Ensemble and Chorus)

突如其来的暴雨迫使牧羊少年带着羊群回到天姥山星光谷。

牧羊少年看到女知昏倒在雨水里，连忙让母羊上前去唤醒女知，自己却带着群羊躲在一旁。

女知在母羊一声声的呼唤下醒来，对牧羊少年带有一种说不出口的幽怨，却忍不住开口询问他的去向。

Sudden rainstorm forced shepherd and sheep flock came back to the Star Valley.

When he saw goddess of enlightenment fainted in the rain, shepherd asked female sheep to awaken her and he and sheep flock hid nearby.

Although goddess of enlightenment awakened by female sheep resented shepherd,she could not control herself to ask his whereabouts.

面对女知的追问，母羊谎称是接受伟大女神、众星之母天姥的指引，然后指着天上的天鸟星座胡乱表达对已故天鸟女王的敬仰和崇拜。女知信以为真，从母羊善意的谎言中不断追忆母亲天姥的过去，并逐渐找回自信。

雨后的夜空泛起点点星光。女知在若隐若现的白鸟星座中寻找到母亲的印迹，并用温婉的歌声倾述内心对母亲的思念。

Without knowing how to respond to the inquiry of goddess of enlightenment, female sheep pretended to claim that she awakened goddess of enlightenment under the guidance of goddess of skyland and pointed to skybird star to hold skybird queen in reverence. Goddess of enlightenment took her fabrication as true and began to reminisced about the legend of goddess of skyland, rebuilding confidence.

Under a canopy of stars in the night sky after rain, goddess of enlightenment found the footprint of her mother in dim white bird star and song mournful songs to miss her mother.

在女知的召唤下，化身为白鸟星的天姥和化身为狮子星的狮子同时出现在夜空中。她们一同指引女知走向光明的道路。

女知诚恳地表示愿意接受大家的指引，并向天上的神明许下很多真善美的愿望。

为了让女知的愿望能够实现，天姥和狮子冰释前嫌，携手向自己信奉的主神祈求帮助。然而，即便是强大无比的日神（即太阳神）和有着无穷智慧的月神（即月光女神），也无法满足女知过多的、不切实际的愿望。

始终坚信“只要愿望美好，就一定会实现”的女知对神明提出了质疑……

With the call of goddess of enlightenment, goddess of skyland with reincarnation of white bird star and the lion with reincarnation of lion star appeared in the sky and guided goddess of enlightenment to a path to brightness.

Goddess of enlightenment expressed that she would follow all guidance and vowed to make beautiful wishes in front of goddess.

To enable goddess of enlightenment to fulfil wishes, goddess of skyland and the lion buried the hatchet and begged for helps from lord goddess. However, even powerful goddess of sun and wise la luna could not fulfill so many impractical wishes of goddess of enlightenment.

Goddess of enlightenment who was convinced that beautiful wishes would be fulfilled questioned goddess…

 

第五幕（含尾声）Act 5 (Epilogue)

（以戏剧化的对白为主）(Dramatic Dialogue)

女知渴望拥有“爱与和平”的终极力量，然而想要实现这个愿望，她必须接受大地之神的考验。女知向天上的神明表达了愿意接受考验的决心。为此，日神和月神唤醒了沉睡中的卡巴拉生命树【[1]】（即大地之神，简称生命树）。

在生命树的指引下，女知放弃了属于女王的高贵和傲慢，也放弃了属于人类的懵懂爱情，化身成为低矮、卑微却具有顽强生命力和超强繁殖力的大地牧草——知母【[2]】。知母草在日神和月神的辅助下，年复一年、周而复始，为大地贮存养份，为动物提供简洁的食物，终于同时获得动物的认可和人类的尊重。

Goddess of enlightenment yearned to have the power of creating a love and peaceful world. To fulfill the wish, she was subject to the tests of earth goddess and expressed her dogged determination to stand severe tests. To that end, goddess of sun and la luna awakened sleeping Qabalah life tree【[3]】(Earth Goddess, called life tree in short).

Under the guidance of life tree, goddess of enlightenment was reincarnated into a low and humble but hardy herb- Anemarrhena herb after abandoning arrogance of queen and sentimental love.[5] which stored nutrients for land and provided simple food for animals with the support of goddess of sun and la luna, wining recognition from animals and respect from humanity.

化身知母草的女知不断许下美好的愿望，继续以大地牧草的方式孕育着大地生命。经过千百年风霜的洗礼，知母草蜕变，成为了参天大树——知母树，也成为生命树的一员。女知荣升为大地神袛，被人类和动物共同尊称为“后土”【[4]】。

历经百年沧桑的女知（即知母树）在即将封神之际，把自己的亲身经历用故事的方式讲给后辈听，希望她们能继承先人的遗志，以崇高为准绳，以奉献为己任，努力完成先辈们未能完成的美好夙愿。

Goddess of enlightenment with reincarnation of Anemarrhena herb made beautiful wishes and gave birth to life. After the baptism for thousands of years, Anemarrhena herb had transformed into Anemarrhena tree, a life tree. Goddess of enlightenment was promoted to earth goddess and worshipped as earth goddess by humanity and animals[7].

(Epilogue)

Goddess of enlightenment (Anemarrhena tree) which underwent vicissitude for ages narrated her experience to posterity and hoped they would carry forward their spirit, preach virtues, make devotion and fulfill beautiful wishes when goddess is about to be conferred on her.

春风又来，大地重生，万物苏醒。大地牧草遍布四方，和平终于来到。饱经风霜的女知永远告别了滋养她一生的大地土壤。

大地之神为了让人们记住属于“知母”（即“大地之母”后土女神）的荣耀，悄然唱响了最后的“挽歌”……

As the spring was coming, life came back to life and herbs grew on pasture. When peace world was created, weather-beaten goddess of enlightenment bid farewell to her homeland for ever.

Earth goddess sang elegy to let people bear in mind the glory of Anemarrhena (land  mother or earth goddess).
